dc.description.abstractEdge detection in computer vision and image processing is a process which detects one kind of significant feature in an image which is a resultant of large delta values in intensities. In this paper, we set up a numerical method for edge detection using a multi-resolution technique based on Gaussian Filters with Spiral Architecture. The detection algorithm reduces noise and unnecessary detail of the image from a coarse level to a fine level of resolution.
