dc.description.abstractA dynamic fuzzy reasoning approach is proposed to infer the best next move in playing the Chinese chess game. The fuzzy cognitive map is exploited to establish the mutual relationship between the current and the target positions on the chess board. We use the guarded degrees and important degrees of the source and the target to create 36 fuzzy rules for the rule base. Among the legal moves, we can choose the one with the highest firing strength as the best next move. Different cases are presented to illustrate how satisfactory the proposed model conforms to the experts’ thinking in playing the Chinese chess game. 98 Towards and Integration of Vague and Uncertain Information
