I is now the de-facto industrial standard for process improvement. SCAMPI is a benchmark quality rating method relative to CMMI model. As SCAMPI appraisal is a fully human-judged, instantiation-based method that will take the organization a lot of time, in this paper we propose a light-weight and mining-based approach called MBGA (mining-based goal analysis) to help organization evaluate the gap between the organization and the CMMI goals.
