摘要: 中文摘要 本研究屬於大眾運輸系統學應用,結合課程中公路運輸之專業知識,針對彰化縣7路公車的營運狀況與使用行為進行分析並提出改善建議。 彰化7路自員林轉運站至田中火車站,行經永靖、田尾及高鐵彰化站,是南彰化連接高鐵及地方交通的重要公車,主要乘客為通勤族、學生及長者。根據時刻表,首班車5:30自田中發車,可接駁高鐵首班車,但末班車無法銜接高鐵末班車,返程亦同,顯示部分班次銜接仍有不足,推測為顧及沿線其他乘客需求所致,且部分站點上下車人次仍具一定規模。 彰化7路由高鐵公司委託彰化客運公司經營,班次密度相較縣內其他路線高。然而沿線除員林外,田尾、田中等地公共運輸服務仍不完善,加上田尾公路花園近年旅遊人潮減少,影響大眾運輸需求。7路公車的存在補足員林至田中居民及長者就醫、返診等需求,並採用無障礙低底盤車輛,促進交通平權並減少對私人運具依賴。 綜合分析後,提出三項優先改善方向:一是提升充電設施維護與更新,降低電動車故障率並確保駕駛休息時間;二是統一站名英譯,例如將「田中 Tanaka」修正為「田中 Tienchung」,以便利外籍旅客辨識;三是評估路線向南延伸至北斗市區,連結更多生活圈與潛在使用者,以擴大公共運輸效益並提升路線吸引力。
Abstract This study applies public transportation system knowledge within the highway transport field to analyze the operations and user behavior of Changhua County Bus Route 7, while proposing improvements. Route 7 connects Yuanlin Transfer Station to Tianzhong Railway Station, passing through Yongjing, Tianwei, and HSR Changhua Station. It serves as a key commuter bus linking local areas with high-speed rail, mainly used by commuters, students, and elderly passengers. According to the timetable, the first bus departs Tianzhong at 5:30 a.m. to connect with the first HSR service, but the last bus does not match the last HSR trains, showing deficiencies in schedule coordination. This mismatch may reflect the need to serve intermediate passengers along the route. Ridership at some stops remains significant. Operated by Changhua Bus Company under commission from the HSR Corporation, Route 7 offers higher frequency compared to other county routes. However, except for Yuanlin, public transportation coverage in towns such as Tianwei and Tianzhong is still incomplete, and declining visitor numbers at Tianwei Flower Garden have further reduced transit demand. Route 7 helps satisfy travel needs for medical visits and daily trips, especially for elderly passengers, and uses low-floor accessible vehicles to promote transport equity and reduce dependence on private cars. Based on analysis, this study proposes three priority improvements: first, upgrading and maintaining charging facilities to lower electric bus failure rates and protect driver rest time; second, standardizing English stop names, such as revising “田中 Tanaka” to “田中 Tienchung” for easier recognition by foreign visitors; and third, evaluating a southward extension to Beidou city center to expand service coverage, attract potential riders, and enhance overall transit accessibility.
