Parameterized tractability of some (efficient) Y -domination variants for planar graphs and t-degenerate graphs

Abstract

In this paper we show that the (efficient) Y -domination problem is fixed-parameter tractable when restricted to planar graphs. Furthermore, we show that the efficient domination problem, a special case of the efficient Y - domination problem, is fixed-parameter tractable when restricted to t-degenerate graphs with fixed t.
